Darren has excelled in real estate construction and has participated as a key member in the building of the Hampton Inn and Suites in Kelowna, BC Housing projects for affordable housing in Penticton, numerous apartment buildings and energy efficient custom homes throughout western Canada.  During that time, he always understood it takes hard work by all parties to achieve a positive outcome for his clients.  

This experience gives him the qualifications to communicate important information about properties that otherwise could go unnoticed.  Understanding the importance of property maintenance as it pertains to HVAC systems, electrical systems, cost of renovations is often overlooked when showing or purchasing real estate.  Darren’s extensive knowledge and personalized checklist can help his clients identify and plan for short term, intermediate and long-term costs that a property will have over the life cycle of the owner’s time residing there.  

When he is not at work Darren enjoys being active in his community and believes in giving back to it.  Currently he coaches Varsity football at Mount Boucherie Secondary School, volunteers for the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Okanagan and is involved with community programs.  Darren also spent time during the pandemic helping small businesses and government agencies put together Covid Prevention Programs to make their workplaces safer and healthier for the public and their employees.   

When he’s not at work or volunteering Darren enjoys watching sports either at home or at the local field cheering on one of his favorite teams (Okanagan Sun, BC Lions).  He also likes to spend time going on walks and hikes through our beautiful valley with his wife Cathy and their dogs GiGi and Tucker.
